As much as I love a cinnamon roll, they do take time and sometimes at 10 am on a Saturday morning, I want cinnamon rolls without all that work. I found this recipe and gave it a try.
Oh. Geez. Quick, easy, barely any cleanup. Makes your house smell like cinnamon. Sweet, warm, gooey, fresh.
This is everything you want in a cinnamon roll without all the work!! It’s delicious, but it doesn’t have the tender flaky bread-like texture of a cinnamon roll. It’s more of a quick bread texture, a coffee cake taste. The cake itself is lightly sweet and lends itself perfectly to the topping!
I’m looking forward to making this for others! And, trying the pumpkin version of it, as I’m a sucker for anything and everything pumpkin.
